Another Be-In, in conjunction with the Spring Mobilization to End the War in Vietnam, is planned for April 15th. It is scheduled to begin in the Sheep Meadow ... and conclude with a walk to the peace demonstration at the UN [United Nations] ... Some people are skeptical about mixing Be-Ins with politics. The Be-In seems almost a sacred event, harking back to medieval pageants, gypsy gatherings, or the great pow-wows of the American Indians. At the same time, it is a new and futuristic experience which, once refined, offers great promise.

Inspired by various love-ins and gatherings in the United States, poet Jamie Reid and his friend Carol decide to organize a "Human Be-in." All the hippies and flower children of Vancouver will gather to dance, listen to music, fly kites, make merry and just BE.

An anti-competitive act is defined by reference to its purpose, and the requisite anti-competitive purpose is an intended negative effect on a competitor that is predatory, exclusionary, or disciplinary.
